Welcome to the Mind & Stories

of S. P. Cloward

From science fiction and fantasy to real life legends, Cloward loves sharing his stories.

Introductions are important and I’m so happy to be able to tell you my story. I'm Sam, a storyteller of sorts. I love helping others, I write books, I enjoy theme parks, amazing stories, and the human condition. From time to time, I enjoy a glass of wine. Stories are what connect us as humans and provide us with a narrative that eventually becomes our legacy. Join me on my journey as I jump into the many worlds my mind inhabits. I invite you to share my real life adventures as well as the creative works I’ve put down on paper.

The Fruits of My Labor

A human’s journey on this planet is one with many stops. I’m still building what has become an amazing career. I’ve worked for multi-national corporations and small businesses alike, on a career path that’s enabled me to gather a large variety of skills. From daily operations to large scale, big-picture planning, I’ve done it all. Add in the knowledge I gained from my degree in Career and Organizational Studies at Eastern Illinois University, and you’ll find a mind full of solutions where others may only find problems. Let’s get to work.

AfterLife - The World of the Mortui

Prior to recorded history, a small genetic mutation occurred that created a race of humans now found among every civilization in every corner of the globe. Unrecognizable to the rest of mankind but dependent upon them for survival, this race is known as Mortui; those whose spirits do not sever from their bodies when they die. They are the source of all living dead legends.

Meet S. P. Cloward

Every story has an origin. Explore the origins of my stories by learning a bit about my life journey thus far. My personal story is still being written while early chapters explore the foundations of my world view. It is this world view that has enabled me to imagine and create new worlds of science fiction and fantasy. For me, it’s always been about the journey.

Exploring the stories we tell empowers us to better understand the human condition.
